The first building is blue, on the right. In the centre, the main building includes the fa?ade of the Chinese restaurant, which is very recognisable thanks to its colours, its lanterns, and its iconic roof. It is overlooked by the fa?ade of the building in which the restaurant is located. I like this difference because it illustrates how restaurants are moving into city centres and reclaiming spaces to create their own worlds. Finally, there is a small red brick building on the left. Like many shops or restaurants that set up in old city centres and inherit a sometimes cramped architecture, the Chinese Restaurant has opened up some walls to appropriate the spaces in its three buildings. The building has three removable levels to access the interior spaces. On the first level is the main room of the restaurant; furnished with tables and chairs and decorated with black and burgundy colours. A beautiful spiral staircase leads to the restaurant's mezzanine. There is also the kitchen, which is open to the restaurant (the waiter picks up the food from the counter). It gives access to the backyard to take out the garbage or to take a break in the open air during the day.
